You are about to begin reading the infamous tale "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson. The setting for the story is London, sometime in the 1800s. The descriptions are those of typical 19th century life. In order to gain some background knowledge before reading, choose one of the five non-fiction articles I have provided under the title "Jekyll and Hyde Links". After you have read the article, compose a blog post that includes the following: Summarize what you have learned, discuss the central point of the article, and explain your reaction to the information you have learned. Your reaction to the information might discuss how you believe this information might influence you as you read the novella, whether you agree or disagree with certain points, or whether this piece has influenced your ideas on various topics.

"The Flog" or Fleming's Blog is a space designed for students in Mrs. Fleming's classes to reveal their thinking about a variety of texts we encounter throughout the year. This space is also meant to practice thinking and writing skills needed for more formal communication. My hopes are that this becomes a convenient way to expand on and enrich our classroom experiences. Maturity and integrity are the expectations for proper use and behavior when blogging. All school terms of use in technology apply when blogging on this site.
Hey Ms.Fleming, on the side where you have your students in your class, my name is the wrong blog. i don`t know how i have two different blogs, but i do. The one i am writing you on now is my real blog. This is where my homework is located. alright i just thought i would tell you bye.
ReplyDeleteCassie,
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I can't find your blog. I am typing in Carlino- Fleming.blogspot.com and it is not coming up. Could you type out the full URL Address you are using to log on? Thanks.
this is my url: http://fleming-period2.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeletei just copied and pasted it, i think i put fleming instead of carlino. i dont know how to fix it either.
Ok, I will attach this URL to my link with your name for now. The only way to fix this is to create a new blog under your dashboard. When you create the new blog, you will have the opportunity to create a new blog title and a new URL address. When you do this, be sure to label both the Blog Title and URL address as follows: Carlino-Fleming. This will help other students find your blog site more easily since they are all relying on the same URL address format. Let me know when you create the new blog with this format so that I can change the link on the flogperiod2 site.
ReplyDeletehey ms. fleming, i went to create a new account and it when it created it as my old account. I`m back up like the other link where the students were, so you can unlink the old blog. Thank you for your help!
